Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) is the largest annual Heavy-Duty Trucking Event in the World. It is held each year at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, KY and attracts attendees and exhibitors from throughout the United States and across the globe.

More than 1,000,000 sq feet of exhibit space gather different size companies, manufacturers, and visitors connected to the trucking industry. From March 22nd to March 24th, the Kentucky Expo Center offers educational seminars, concerts & special events. See the full program here: MATS2018 events

Last year the show was disrupted by the ELD mandate protests and it was relatively slow in term of recruitment. According to trucking industry professionals this year the MATS Show will get a larger audience than the previous few years.

For small and middle size companies in the industry, the event is an opportunity to build their brand. And even though large companies offer huge incentives to drivers, smaller to mid-size transportation companies could as well find a lot of drivers on the show. The chances are better though if they stay out of the recruitment center. Merx Global in Elk Grove Village, for example, is one of the relatively big fleets that is planning on growing the business. They are among the exhibitors at the MATS 2018. The marketing person for the company shared that they are hoping to find new partners and make hires out of the show. "We decided to get a booth in the West Wing because we would like to speak with drivers outside the recruitment center. The competition is big but we know what we offer, so we hope drivers look beyond the numbers and choose wisely"

Merx Global is planning on having a special SING ON BONUS program for the MATS Show.

$ 500 after the first month of driving (Company drivers only)
$ 1000 after one full year with the company (Company drivers only)
$ 2000 after the second year driving for the company (Company drivers only)
